It is with regret that we have to announce that work has stopped on the Swordfish replica, for the Channel Dash Association who have cancelled the order through lack of funds.
Gateguards will now continue to build the aircraft in down time for our own display and news of it’s build will continue on the site.
Mustang P51D
The memorial for the USA was put back due to the economic climate but we are confident that this is only a minor set back and an order will be forthcoming.
Red Tails
Gateguards were cominisioned in March to build replica P51’s & P40’s for the forthcoming George Lucas Film, the aircraft were successfully delivered to the film set over a number of weeks, as fast as we built them there were on the truck for delivery.

Spitfire MJ255 Replica
Kevin Wheatcroft of Wheatcroft & Son Ltd placed an order with us to renovate the remains of the Donnington Park Spitfire.
She had been hit by a lorry and knocked of her stand, when we picked her up she was in a very sorry state.
Now fully renovated and in the markings of MJ255 she is being transported out to France to be set up as a crash diorama being laid out as the original aircraft ended up during D-Day.
