Celtic Cross Monument update

Welcome from the  airfield here today in Newquay as I write this update on the Celtic Cross project. All the components are now on site with the Spars from Independant Composites. Simon Thomas whos masterpiece we have been building, has been helping our Gate Guards team get the head ready to be made into a mould. Lots of interest with the project with TV crews arriving to interview us which adds to an already busy timetable. Time is of the essence now as we start to bond the elements together. After months of hard work here at Newquay we are now able to tell you what we have been working on. Due to the nature of the projects we were unable to put them on our website. We are currently constructing the Celtic Cross monument which is to be sited at Ellwell Woods , Saltash.  Duncan Healey has been managing the project with Alaistar Mc Donald  a skilled composites engineer taking a hands on approach. Gateguards (UK) Ltd – News and Updates

We are settling in well in our new facility at Newquay Airport. Gateguards has leased a HAS (Hardened Aircraft Shelter), originally intended to house part of the UK’s Nuclear Deterrent Force, in the form of Blackburn Bucanneers and latterly Panavia Toradoes. If anyone would like to donate either of the above to use as our own gateguard, we would be only too happy to give her a good home!
