Gateguards have proudly finished the Cross and revealed it to the world. The Cross has taken around 9 months to complete and proudly sits at the gateway to Cornwall near the Tamar bridge. At over 63 feet sitting on a plinth it commands a fantastic position in the centre of the Ellwell Woods site.

In 2008 Gateguards UK worked for BAE Systems to provide a replica Supermarine Spitfire for Air Command at RAF High Wycombe to commemorate the RAF's 90th anniversary.

The success of the joint industry and military project team in working together to achieve the delivery of the replica within budget and to very tight timescales was recognised by BAE Systems with a Bronze Chairman's Award in the Company’s scheme aimed at recognising the brightest and the best of its people and others in joint projects teams.
